Summer School Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to cancel the course or your place for any reason. If this happens all fees will be fully refunded, but no further expenses will be liable.

Registration Fee:

After enrolling, if we offer you a place the registration fee is non refundable. If we are unable to offer you a place you will be given the option of a refund or joining our waiting list. If later you choose to leave the waiting list you can have a refund then. If a place becomes available and you accept it, the registration fee is no longer refundable.

Accommodation Fees:

Accommodation fees are due by 1st Feb, or upon booking if you book after this date. The student accommodation is owned and run by an independent company with no connection to the university. We sign a contract to block book the rooms directly with them on your behalf. Unfortunately, their terms and conditions do not allow for refunds under any circumstances, which means we are sorry but we are unable to offer any refunds for the accommodation fees after the payment is made.

Tuition Fees:

Tuition fees are due by 1st May. If you have not paid by then we reserve the right to offer your place to someone else.  After enrolling, should you wish to cancel your place, for any reason, up to 16 July 2023, you can claim a 50% refund on the tuition fees. Cancellations made on or after 16 July 2023 will not be entitled to any refunds.

We reserve the right to substitute teachers if the advertised teachers become unavailable for any reason.

No refunds can be made for any sessions that you fail to attend during the course, for any reason.

It is recommended that you arrange insurance for your musical instruments and other personal property in case of loss or damage. The organisers can not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property.

We do not accept cash payments into our bank account. Cash payments are subject to a transaction surcharge. Any banking charges that we incur for cash payments and/or returned cheques will be added to your account and are liable to you.
