Under 18s Policy

 

The course is primarily designed for adults, however every year we are pleased to welcome young people, as they can benefit from the adult environment and level of musical training. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, but those aged 16 and 17 are welcome to come on the course un-accompanied.  

 

However, we do wish to make clear that all jazz course participants, regardless of age, have the independence to come and go as they wish and we do not provide any special supervision for those participants under the age of 18.

 

We do not act in loco parentis for under 18 students, but we do aim to make the summer school an enjoyable experience and make every effort to look after all participants. 

 

We may, at various points in the week, take some pictures of students at work and performing for future publicity material. If you have any objections to your child being in these photographs please let us know in advance.
